How does the browser extension work?
Our Chrome extension (Manifest V3) allows you to:

What are variables in prompts?
Variables are placeholders you can add to your prompts using the {{variable}} syntax. When you use a prompt, you can replace these variables with specific values. This makes your prompts reusable and flexible. For example:

How does version history work?
Every time you edit a prompt, we save a new version. You can track changes with up to 25 versions per prompt. This helps you:

What plans are available?

What is the difference between monthly and annual billing?
- Monthly Billing: You are charged each month. You can cancel anytime.
- Annual Billing: You pay for a full year upfront. Annual plans often include savings compared to monthly billing.
Both options give you access to the same features—the difference is just how often you are charged.
Can I change my plan later?
Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your account settings. When you upgrade, you gain immediate access to new features. When you downgrade, the changes take effect at the end of your current billing period.
Is there a free trial?
We offer a free plan that lets you explore the platform without any time limit. Some paid plans may include trial periods—you will see trial options during the checkout process if available.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe, a industry-leading payment processor.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. The price you see is the price you pay. We are transparent about our pricing. Taxes may apply depending on your location and will be shown during checkout.
Cancellation and Refunds
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription from your account settings or by contacting [email protected]. Cancellation stops future renewals, and you will continue to have access through the end of your current billing period.
Will I lose my data if I cancel?
You will retain access to your account and prompts through the end of your current billing period. After that, your account may be downgraded to our free plan (if available) with limited features. We recommend exporting any important data before your paid period ends.
Can I get a refund?
All payments are non-refundable. We do not provide refunds except where required by applicable law. This policy is stated in our Terms of Service. We encourage you to start with our free plan to evaluate whether Prompt01 meets your needs before upgrading.
What happens if I cancel mid-billing period?
When you cancel, you retain access to all paid features until the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged again after cancellation takes effect.
Can I pause my subscription instead of canceling?
Currently, we do not offer a pause feature. If you need to take a break, you would need to cancel and re-subscribe later when you are ready to use Prompt01 again.
Security and Privacy
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access or disclosure. This includes:
- Secure data transmission (HTTPS)
- Encrypted data storage where appropriate
- Access controls and authentication
- Regular security monitoring
However, no system is 100% secure. We recommend not storing highly sensitive information such as secret keys, api keys, and or password in your prompts.
Who owns my prompts?
You retain all rights to your content. The prompts you create belong to you. We only need a license to host, store, and display your content to provide the service. This is explained in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Is my data shared with third parties?
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:
- Service providers: Companies that help us run the service (hosting, analytics, payment processing)
- Third-party services you connect: If you choose to integrate with other tools
- Legal requirements: When required by law

No. We do not use your private prompts to train AI models or develop competing products. Your prompts remain your property and are only used to provide the services you request.
Can I delete my data?
Yes, you can delete individual prompts through the platform. To delete your entire account and all associated data, please contact [email protected]. Note that we may retain limited information as required for legal, security, and operational purposes.
Are you GDPR/CCPA compliant?
We comply with applicable data protection laws including GDPR and CCPA. You have rights related to your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or delete certain information. Contact us at [email protected] to exercise these rights.
Account Management
How do I reset my password?
You can reset your password by:

Can I change my email address?

How do I delete my account?

We recommend using one account per person. If you need separate workspaces for different purposes, consider using our team or organization features instead of multiple personal accounts.
How do I update my billing information?
You can update your payment method from your account billing settings or through the Stripe customer portal link in your account.
Collaboration and Teams
Can I share my prompts with others?
Yes! You can:
